Why first meal-prep weeks fall apart
Fridge-only prep runs out of road by Wednesday: most cooked leftovers keep three to four days, so the end of the week goes to waste.
Most meal-prep books start with fifty recipes. A beginner needs one plan for one week, and the order to cook it in.
Few books say which dishes freeze well and which do not, so the first freezer batch comes out watery or dry.
Cooking five dishes at once with one oven and two pans needs a timeline, not just recipes.
What the book will hold
Each chapter is one complete week built for the freezer: a short shopping list, a two-hour session in the order you cook it, and a plan for what goes in the fridge for the next days and what goes in the freezer for later. Later weeks reuse the skills from earlier ones.
- Six complete beginner weeks, each built around one prep session
- Freezer-first dishes: soups, stews, casseroles and cooked proteins that keep their texture
- A minute-by-minute session timeline for one oven and two pans
- Fridge and freezer times for every dish, from the USDA FoodSafety.gov storage chart
- Labeling, cooling and safe thawing, step by step
- One shopping list per week, sized for one or two people
- Format: paperback and ebook
Questions
Is the book available?
Not yet. This page is a test: it checks whether readers want Freezer Meal Prep for Beginners before it is written. The reserve button only counts your click. No payment details are asked for and nothing is charged.
When does it launch?
The planned launch window is spring 2027. The planned launch price is $16.99 for the paperback. Reserving now is free and no payment is taken today.
What happens when I press reserve?
After one short question, the reserve button counts your click and shows a page that says the book is not available yet, with a free printable sheet. This page collects no e-mail address, so it cannot tell you when the book is out.
Do I need special equipment?
No. The plans assume one oven, two pans, a baking tray, freezer-safe containers and a marker for labels. The book says which containers are worth buying first.
Is it for experienced cooks?
It is written for people who cook a little or not at all and have never prepped a whole week. It is not a diet book.
Who is behind this?
